This glorious body butter oil has a deliciously strong scent that lasts, feels wonderful on skin, and has a subtle lil shimmer to leave you glowing. It is liquid magic! I'm currently residing in another hemisphere and I coordinate my order to be home when I visit America so I can take a few bottles of product back to Australia with me 🦘💖 It's that good!
I have fair, sensitive, Caucasian skin with plenty of complications: dryness, keratosis pilaris, and vitiligo. The KB body oil has helped me address all of my issues in some way.
Dry skin: I've used this oil after lotion to combat harsh Midwest winter cold and winds. Now I apply my body butter oil while still damp after a shower or drizzle it in my bath to have a truly luxurious soak in the scented waters. I always leave silky smooth and moisturized, and I stay that way.
KP: I need a prescription strength retinol for the keratosis pilaris on my arms. It is harsh on the skin. Using this oil has helped me lock in moisture so I'm not as red or dry from the ointment medication.
Vitiligo: My pale self is prone to sunburn in general. On top of that, I have vitiligo- patches of skin across my body with literally no melanin pigment. That means 5 minutes in sunshine unprotected leaves my vitiligo spots with bright pink sunburn and the associated long term sun damage & heightened risk of skin cancer. Obviously SPF is a must, especially in Australia. I have to use sunscreen daily, reapplying a minimum of every 2 hours if I go outside. Slathering it on every morning became a weary chore that heightened my insecurities about my vitiligo condition and my exposed vampire pale skin. It began to chip away the simple joy of being outside. Now, I add a few squirts of this oil into my sunscreen bottle directly. It doesn't impact the efficacy of the sunscreen for me. It is just enough to infuse the glorious smell, a sprinkle of shimmer, and lock in hydration. It is a small change, but now the daily SPF applications feels more like a glamorous ritual rather than a forced basting in white slime necessary for me to exist outside without burning to a crisp. I am more SPF'd than ever and my skin is healthier for it. I may still be blindingly pale all summer long, but now it feels a bit more like a fancy glow! 😊

I'm in love with all the products on this site. All the body butters I've tried so far have made my skin smooth and glowy all day while smelling amazing. Plus, they're great for layering! The soaps lather up super well and leave my skin feeling clean and smooth.. The turmeric soap also cleared up my acne. I'm pretty sure I'd buy in bulk if that were an option. And don't even get me started on the hair oil, the perfect daily treatment for my full head of locs.
